AlarmMe, a simple alarm alternative for Windows Phone 8

There are plenty of alarm apps in the Windows Telephone Store and AlarmMe is one of the better looking, easy to use options in the Shop. The colorful blueprint gives AlarmMe some heart-appeal and the simple user interface is well-nigh frustration free.

If the native alert feature on your Windows Phone is non cutting it, AlarmMe is not a bad alternative to consider.

The principal page for AlarmMe has the warning-dial center screen, your electric current time displayed but beneath, and +/- buttons to the sides of the screen. Along the bottom of the screen you have a tile to send yous to your alarm listings, a "+" tile to add together additional alarms, and an edit tile to edit your alert.

The settings cog is in the upper right corner where you can view a tutorial, view the nearly screen, choose one of three background images, review the app, and send feedback to the developer.

To set an alarm, just slide your finger along the alarm dial and if you need to fine-tune the alert time you can use the plus or minus buttons.  When you have the alert time merely right, only tap the screen to turn information technology on. If yous demand to set additional alarms, tap the "+" tile at the bottom of the screen.

Editing options for AlarmMe's alarms include:

  • Custom description
  • Echo the alarm during the calendar week
  • Cull the alarm tone (23 choices)
  • Choose the warning colour

From the editing screen, yous can as well alter the alarm fourth dimension and turn the alert on/off.

While information technology does not accept any functionality, the background image will adjust accordingly to your alarm time and looks practiced. If y'all spin the dial to an early morn time, the background will reflect that fourth dimension of twenty-four hours. Information technology is a neat characteristic that helps AlarmMe stand out a bit.
